Tamizha’s debut film as a hero, Meesaya Murukku released 2 weeks back, which
starred a lot of youngsters from Youtube along with him. Gathering positive
response from the audiences for his musical college love story, Hiphop Tamizha
has struck the chord with his debut directorial.

Murukku, at the end of its second weekend, has collected a good Rs. 1.53 Cr
(approx) and holding well with 177 shows, according to the Behindwoods Chennai
city Box office. It has capitalised on the good opening and has gone on to get
a ‘Hit’ verdict in Chennai as it has connected with the masses.
