Suseenthiran’s
next title changed to 'Nenjil Thunivirunthal'
Suseenthiran
has been busy with not one, but two films in the past few months. While the
first one, starring Sundeep Kishan, Mehreen Pirzada and Vikranth in the lead,
was titled Aram Seidhu Pazhagu, the second project, featuring newcomers, was as
yet untitled. But now, the director has opted for a different title for the
Sundeep-Vikranth-starrer and has titled it as Nenjil Thunivirunthal.
Ask
Suseenthiran what prompted the title change and he says, "Aram Seidhu
Pazhagu was registered by a Madurai-based hospital for its social campaign.
We'd requested them to part with it, but they were not in a position to do so.
Hence, we decided to go with this title."
Does he feel
like he has compromised with the title? "Actually no, the new title aptly
fits the story. Like all my previous films, this one is also about a socially
relevant topic, which I've narrated with an emotional angle. I believe that
people should opt for a profession only if they have the inclination to do the
job without compromising. For instance, only those who are patriotic and don't
fear death should join the defence forces, and only those who have the will
power to ensure justice prevails in the society, without falling prey to
corruption, should become police officers. The story of my film deals with one
such profession, and I think Nenjil Thunivirunthal is an apt title."
Meanwhile,
prod Suseenthiran about the title of his other project and he says with a
laugh, "It's only after a lot of deliberation that I've found a suitable
title for this film. All I can say about the other one is that it will be a
stylish movie with an urban feel, something stylish and urbane. This is a genre
that I haven't attempted before, and I hope I pull it off well."
